In focus: The integrated whole.

Plants and factories represent an extremely complex system comprised of a number of subsystems. The subsystems, specific units and departments are designed by engineers from diverse fields and realised by specialised companies. As a general planner, we ensure that the designs and plans contributed by the different project participants are integrated and yield optimal technical and economic results in line with the goals of the project.

METROPLAN PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT offers the following general planning services:
  • Plant/factory design and planning; production logistics
  • Building and layout planning; outdoor facilities planning
  • Structural framework planning
  • Building engineering planning
  • Planning of special supply and disposal facilities
  • Integration of appraisers and engineering partners

In line with our guiding principle of “planning from the inside out”, the material and equipment planning for production is the primary, key process within the scope of the plant and factory planning. It creates the basis for designing and planning the production logistics areas and other departments as well as the building and building engineering planning.

We have particular experience in realising industrial buildings as a general contractor. This approach offers special benefits in terms of functional reliability, cost certainty and adherence to schedules, and clearly specifies who is in charge of the realisation.

As a general planner, we provide all of the planning services listed above, across all project phases, including realisation supervision and controlling, and furthermore, we perform additional specific services associated with our responsibility as the general planner.

Range of services
