The METROPLAN management team with its five heads was complete and joined together the international fair CeMAT 2011 in Hannover. It was a successful and exciting event on which we socialized interesting contacts. We were very pleased about the large attendance of our clients. Thank you very much for your interest!

METROPLAN PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT took again part in the accompanying fair of the congress on 23rd and 24th in Esslingen. In addition to conversations with well-known friends, new interesting contacts could have been generated.

From the 20th to the 22nd of October 2010 METROPLAN LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT and METROPLAN ENGINEERING took again part in the annual get-together of the logistic branch in Berlin. We were very pleased about the interest in METROPLAN. On Thursday night a large number of guests followed up on the invitation to our traditional “Marlene Evening” in the Intercontinental Hotel. There were a lot of talks, discussions and laughter in a relaxing atmosphere.

For the 29th and 30th of September 2010 METROPLAN ENGINEERING joined the list of the exhibitors of the “Mail Order World”. Beside the introduction of METROPLAN`s special competences the fair was a great platform for comparing notes with visitors on upcoming projects

METROPLAN EASTERN EUROPE  held the 14th Eastern Europe Conference together with the company REIF Infra S.R.L. on the 16th and 17th of September 2010 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Almost 50 participants from producing companies, logistics industry and technical services discussed diverse concepts and strategies. Beside 5 practice reports which provided further insights, company site visits demonstrated the issue of site analyses.

On September 15th and 16th 2010 METROPLAN PROCESS MANAGEMENT and the special interest magazine “Beschaffung aktuell” organized a Top-Management Workshop which was about purchasing strategies. The attendees had the possibility to discuss about successful purchasing strategies as well as the transfer between the strategic planning of sales and the purchasing department. A visitation of Airbus and the fully automated Container-Terminal completed the interesting workshop.

„Logistics boosts the mail order branch“ – that was the title of an event organized by the special interest magazine “Logisik Heute “ and supported by METROPLAN ENGINEERING.
Top-class speakers focused on the challenges for the logistics industry due to the raising numbers of mail orders. About 30 experts used the platform for sharing their Know-How and exchanging their experiences. For further details please have a look at the article.

Vom 2. bis 4. März 2010 fand wieder die internationale Fachmesse für Distribution, Material- und Informationsfluss auf der neuen Landesmesse am Stuttgarter Flughafen statt. Internationale Aussteller trafen auf Entscheider aus Industrie-, Handels- und Dienstleistungsunternehmen, die kompetente Partner suchen.
METROPLAN war auch wieder vor Ort. Wir haben uns über den regen Besuch auf unserem Messestand gefreut.

Die dritte Akademie für Oberstufenschüler, die von der Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung, dem AGA Unternehmensverband, der Claussen-Simon-Stiftung und der FOM Fachhochschule für Oekonomie und Management ins Leben gerufen wurde, fand vom 14.-16. Oktober 2009 in der Universität Hamburg statt.
