We are proud of:
- Optimisation of the European logistics network for spare parts supply by merging the Jungheinrich, MIC, Boss and Steinbock brands, and definition of the optimal location for the second spare parts warehouse for in-night supply of technicians and customers in southern Europe
- Outsourcing of the warehouse location in Lahr, Germany, for supplying spare parts to customers and service technicians in southern Europe, preparation of the tender documents for the warehouse procedures and provision of transport in southern Europe, supervision of the contract award to the warehouse operator
- Development of a concept for process optimisation and warehouse modernisation for the central spare parts warehouse in Norderstedt, Germany; preparation of the tender process for the general contractor for the warehouse and materials handling equipment/technology and the warehouse management system, supervision of the award to a general contractor; monitoring of the realisation during ongoing operations; support and supervision of the testing and commissioning of the new warehouse and materials handling equipment/technology and the new warehouse management system
- Reorganisation of the complete distribution logistics for new vehicles and rental forklift trucks in Europe for the purpose of directly supplying end customers with fixed delivery times throughout Europe by eliminating a warehouse step, tendering out the transport requirements, implementing a transparent price structure and supervising and supporting the realisation
